Fringe Festival - Edinburgh
Now is the month of August, what have came across my mind? Yeah, is the Fringe Festival. The Fringe, clamours for attention that attracts thousands of people yearly to gather at Edinburgh for performance & visiting. And, I never missed it during my two years stay in UK. Ha.... I suppose today is the opening for Fringe in year 2008.
Obviously, it has its own attractions which make us fall in love...
1. Military Tattoo is part of the program which runs daily except Monday - The tickets normally start selling 8-9 months ahead. I couldn't get it in year 2004, all sold out within months ago. Again tried my luck in year 2005, I couldn't get it as well because all sold out in March. I went to the ticket counter and Q for 1.5 hour on its last day. Was hoping that there will be some tickets cancellation. Bingo! I made it on its last day of performance! There were fireworks shown on closing.
2. Street Performance by performers who came around the world, just to impress the visitors with their talents.

4. Varieties of concerts - Singing concerts, musical concert, musical theater, ballet concert, etc. Besides you can watch a nice performance at concert, yet you can view the castle at the same scence. Believe me, look at the picture.

They dressed in creative ways just to be eye-catching!!!
